Will it fit my vehicle?

Two kinds of product live here, and the difference matters. Transfer decals and stickers are universal. They go on any smooth surface, so they work just as well on an F-150 tailgate, a Tacoma bedside, or a laptop as they do on a Wrangler. Cut-to-fit sets are shaped for a specific vehicle, including Jeep Wrangler (JL/JK/TJ), Gladiator (JT), Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport, and Toyota 4Runner. Exact fitment is listed on every product page, so check there before you order.

What they are made from

Cut decals are ORACAL 651, an intermediate calendered film. Its rated outdoor life depends on the color: roughly six years for standard colors, about four for metallics. Printed graphics are ORAJET 3551RA sealed under a protective laminate, rated three to six years outdoors depending on climate and sun exposure. Perforated see-thru window media is ORAJET 3675. All of it is built for sun, rain, mud, and the wash bay, and it peels off cleanly later without harming your factory paint.

Why does the flag face "backwards" on one side?

On our mirrored fender and vent pairs, the passenger-side flag is reversed so the star field leads the way. It is not a mistake: a flag on a moving object should look like it is flying forward into the wind, with the stars at the front. Why does the American flag look backwards on the passenger side?

On mirrored fender and vent pairs, the passenger-side flag is reversed so the star field leads. By U.S. Flag Code, a flag on a moving vehicle should look like it is flying forward into the wind, with the stars at the front. It is intentional, and it is the same reason the flag is reversed on a soldier's right shoulder.

Are these American flag decals made in the USA?

Yes. Our cut and printed vinyl flag decals are made in-house in South Carolina.

Will a flag decal damage my paint or glass?

No. Cut designs are ORACAL 651, an intermediate calendered film, and printed designs are ORAJET 3551RA under laminate. Both peel off cleanly when you want a change, leaving factory paint, clear coat and glass intact. Warm the decal slightly and pull at a low angle for the easiest removal.

What is the difference between a subdued flag and a thin blue or red line flag?

A subdued flag is a blackout, single-tone version of the Stars and Stripes for a low-key look. A thin blue line flag honors law enforcement and a thin red line flag honors firefighters, each adding a single colored stripe to the blackout design.

Are the decals weather-resistant for daily and off-road use?

Yes. Orafol rates ORACAL 651 at roughly six years outdoors for standard colors, about four for metallics, and around three for brilliant blue. Printed graphics on ORAJET 3551RA with laminate run about three to six years depending on climate and sun exposure. All of it holds up to sun, rain, car washes, mud and trail conditions.

Do you offer cast vinyl instead of calendered?

Yes, on request. Our standard cut decals are ORACAL 651, an intermediate calendered film, which is what Orafol specifies for flat vehicle and window graphics. If you want cast, we can produce your design in ORACAL 751C, or 751RA if you want air-release channels for an easier install. Cast is a special-request upgrade and carries a surcharge, so contact us before ordering and we will quote it.
