Find the size markings on your spare's sidewall. They look like 285/70R17 or 33x12.50R15.
- In the metric format, the first number is the width in millimeters, the second is the sidewall height as a percentage of width, and the last is the wheel diameter in inches.
- In the flotation format (33x12.50R15), the first number IS the overall diameter in inches, which is what you order by.

Step 3: The fit system, and what to skip
Our covers use a simple elastic hem: stretch the cover over the tire face, work the hem around the back edge, and the elastic cinches it snug. No tools, no hooks, no hardware touching your wheel, and installation takes about a minute.
You may see covers elsewhere sold with cables, locks, bungees, or velcro. Those systems exist mostly to fix covers that do not fit well in the first place. A correctly sized fabric cover with a full elastic hem stays put at highway speed, which is why sizing (Step 1) is the step worth the extra five minutes.
