Crafted from premium Oracal 651 intermediate calendared vinyl, this vinyl transfer decal is designed for long-lasting outdoor durability and a clean, painted-on appearance once applied. Precision cut for crisp detail and smooth lines, each decal is made to order and includes professional-grade transfer tape for easier installation. Choose from 63 vibrant color options, including standard gloss finishes, matte Black and matte White, plus eye-catching metallic finishes like Silver Metallic, Rose Gold Metallic, Gold Metallic, and Copper Metallic to perfectly match your style.

Depending on the size and complexity of the decal, we use either RTape 4078 RLA or ORATAPE HT55 transfer tape to help ensure clean transfer and accurate application.

Installation Instructions:

Required Tools:

Retractable razor blade, squeegee, tape measure or ruler, and a spray bottle filled with isopropyl alcohol.

Optional:

For easier positioning during installation, lightly mist both the application surface and adhesive side of the decal with water. This reduces the initial tack, allowing more flexibility during placement, but will increase drying time. Allow at least 10 minutes of drying time before checking adhesion and removing the transfer tape.

Surface Preparation:

All surfaces should be considered dirty and must be thoroughly cleaned before installation. Painted metal surfaces should be cleaned using an automotive detergent. Wipe the surface dry using a clean, lint-free cloth to ensure proper adhesion.

Step 1: Tape in Place

Position the decal and align it using a nearby horizontal line or reference point. Use a level if necessary to ensure the decal is straight and even. Once aligned, place masking tape on the corners to temporarily hold it in place. Apply a strip of masking tape across the top edge of the decal to create a hinge for easier application.

Step 2: Remove the Backing Paper

Carefully hinge the decal upward using the masking tape hinge. Slowly peel the backing paper away from one corner, working gradually across the decal until the backing is fully removed. Hold the decal taut and avoid allowing the adhesive side to touch the surface prematurely.

Step 3: Apply the Decal

Using a squeegee, begin at the center of the decal and work outward using firm, smooth strokes. Apply even pressure to push air outward and ensure proper adhesion to the surface. Continue working across the entire decal until all sections are securely applied. Go over the decal once more with the squeegee to ensure full contact.

Step 4: Remove Transfer Tape and Trim if Necessary

Slowly remove the transfer tape by pulling it back flat against the surface. Watch carefully to ensure the vinyl remains properly adhered during removal. If needed, use a retractable razor blade to carefully trim around door seams or edges and tuck excess vinyl inward for a clean finish.

Application Tip:

If small air bubbles appear, use the tip of an X-Acto knife or pin to gently release the trapped air. Smooth the vinyl down carefully using your finger or squeegee.

Decal FAQs

What surfaces work best?

Decals bond best to clean, smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass, smooth painted metal, and finished plastic. Rough, textured, or porous surfaces do not give the adhesive enough contact to hold well, so they are not a good fit.

How long will my decal last outdoors?

It is cut from Oracal 651 outdoor vinyl, rated for up to 6 years outdoors with proper installation. Real-world life depends on sun, climate, and wear, but it is built to handle daily weather and regular car washes.

Can I wash my vehicle after applying a decal?

Yes. Give it about 48 to 72 hours after installation so the adhesive fully cures, then hand washing or a standard automatic car wash is fine. Just avoid aiming a pressure washer straight at the edges.

Will a decal damage my paint, and can I remove it later?

No. It applies over factory paint and clear coat and removes cleanly without harming the finish. To take it off, warm it gently with a hair dryer and peel slowly from one edge. Any leftover adhesive wipes off with mild soapy water.

Can I reuse a decal once it is removed?

No. Transfer decals are made for a single application. Peeling one off stretches the vinyl and spends the adhesive, so it is worth planning your placement before you apply.

Can I change my order after it is placed?

Please double-check your selections before checkout. Decals are made to order, so once production starts we often cannot make changes. If you catch something right away, email us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.

amazing decal & service

Amazing decal, I installed this while the weather was 60 something degree and it made vinyl harder to stick on the curve. I ended up using the heat gun and that worked well. Highly recommend installing when it's hot outside.

After purchasing this item I scheduled an appointment with a local shop that specializes in wrapping vehicles and installing decals. They were not able to successfully install and stated the quality was not good. After researching others, I purchased one that cost twice as much and they installed it flawlessly. Reached out to seller about my experience and they did not seem to care about my experience with their product. They pretty much blamed it on the preference of the shop that did the install. Definitely a waste of time and money.

If I could give 0 Stars on shipping I would delay after delay didn’t even get a notification of it being shipped until 4 days after purchase have received multiple different ETAs on delivery we are now gonna receive the package while we are out of town rather then the time frame it said. Keep in mind we had 3 days grace for shipping time extra to make sure we got it before we left. it’s now coming in on the 9th instead of the estimated April 30th-5th

We didn’t receive the first shipment but when I contacted the seller, he resolved the issue by resending immediately.
When we received the decal, I was not expecting 2 separate layers to achieve the desired red pinstripe outline.(There was a set of full red base decals with another set of slightly smaller black decals to install on top of the red ones). Any other decals we had ordered were one with red pinstripe outline.
We returned the decals for refund. The seller was very accommodating.
