Jeep at SEMA 2026: What to Expect, What to Watch, and Where to Be

Mopar has published its 2026 SEMA Show lineup, and the guessing is over: Jeep is bringing three concepts to Las Vegas, all three of which earned their scars in Moab at the 60th Easter Jeep Safari earlier this year. This is a show floor encore rather than a world debut, which is good news if you missed them on the trail. Here is exactly what is going, what is still being held back, and how to follow along whether you are walking the halls or watching from the couch.

The Three Jeep Concepts Confirmed for SEMA 2026

All three are headed for the Mopar booth, and all three were built for dirt before they were built for carpet.

  • Wrangler BUZZCUT. The one you will recognize from across the hall. It is a two-door Wrangler in Vitamin C orange with black accents, and its roofline has been chopped about two inches into a fastback. The rear seats are gone, replaced by a locking Diabolical Slipstream enclosure with drawers and MOLLE panels, which is why Mopar describes it as a compact two-seat layout with added storage. Power comes from the 2.0-liter turbocharged four. It rides on 37s and carries a Warn winch, 7-inch TYRI lights, A-pillar pods, a snorkel, and a C-pillar grab handle for getting up to the roof storage.
  • Wrangler Anvil 715. The overlanding entry, and the only one of this year's concepts running the 392 HEMI V8, good for roughly 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. Its front end borrows from the 1960s SJ trucks, and the roof is fixed rather than removable, which is a real statement on a Wrangler. The useful parts are the onboard air system with quick-disconnect fittings, steel bumpers front and rear, auxiliary lighting, and a large display running Trails Offroad mapping where the factory infotainment screen would normally sit. Jeep's pitch is capability without unnecessary bulk.
  • Recon Overwatch Concept. The electric Recon's turn. Mopar is keeping this one brief, describing it as a trail-ready expression of electric Jeep capability built with lightweight materials and functional trail upgrades. We would rather point you at the booth than invent specs, so treat the details as open until the covers come off.

What Mopar Is Still Holding Back

Darren Bradshaw, senior vice president of Mopar North America, promised "a few unexpected surprises" alongside the concepts and builds, and the only teaser image released with the announcement was a blue dash badge reading Mopar '27. That points at something for the 2027 model year, but Mopar has not said what. So the lineup is known and the surprise is not, which is a more honest way to walk into a show than pure speculation. The full lineup was reported by MoparInsiders on October 27, 2026.

Builds Worth Hunting Down

  • The Jeep and Mopar booth, 59119 in the West Hall. Mopar has moved into a new West Hall home for 2026. This is where all three Jeep concepts land, alongside the Ugly Sweater trail armor and the usual lineup of Mopar-accessorized Wranglers and Gladiators.
  • Turn 14's builds. Turn 14's 2025 booth vehicle, a Gladiator Rubicon, is the prize in a dealer sweepstakes, and the company is teasing the debut of its next giveaway build.
  • XKGLOW's rebuilt Gladiator. After their show Gladiator lost its engine right before show season, XKGLOW started over with a new Gladiator and has been documenting the build on its "Road to SEMA 2026" series.
  • Wild cards. Every year, Jeep is one of the most-built platforms on the floor. Expect everything from mild trail rigs to builds that barely look like Jeeps anymore.

Mopar's Ugly Sweater Trail Armor Is Back

Worth a stop for anyone who likes changing their rig's look without committing to it. The Ugly Sweater kit is removable trail armor for four-door Wranglers, made by MEK Magnet out of lightweight ballistic resin and held on with the company's nano-hold system, so it needs no adhesive and no tools. The panels carry red, green, and white holiday graphics printed with UV- and fade-resistant inks, they protect the body from trail scratches while they are on, and they come off to be cleaned, stored, and put back next December. Mopar sells the Wrangler kit through its eStore under part number 68765862AA, listed at $648 when it launched at last year's show, and MEK Magnet handles Gladiator fitments directly.

The idea behind it is one we think about a lot: a vehicle's look should be changeable. Panels, graphics, and decals let you run something seasonal, or loud, or sentimental, and then go back to clean sheet metal whenever you want.

Can't Make It? Who to Follow

If you're watching from home, two channels we follow all year are a safe bet for Jeep-focused coverage:

  • Way of Life (WAYALIFE): Known for their annual SEMA Jeep walkthroughs covering mild to wild builds.
  • TrailRecon: Practical, trail-minded takes on what's actually worth bolting onto your rig.

Even Bigfoot Is Waiting on This One

The Nevada desert isn't exactly prime Sasquatch habitat, but if anyone's going to sneak into SEMA on public day to scope out a new trail rig, it's him. Big guy, big tires, big secrets. We'll be keeping an eye out for any suspiciously hairy attendees near the Jeep booth.
